Dear Friends,

We very much regret to inform you that almost immediately after sending you the optimistic letter, finally we are forced to cancel the Szymanowski Competition. The reason is the latest decision of our Ministry of Culture and National Heritage not to provide a financial support for this event. The funds assigned by the City Office are far from sufficient.

The only thing we can do in this situation is to apologize for disappointing you. We will return the entrance fee immediately.
